The Mission of CSCMP is to lead the evolving Supply Chain Management profession by developing, advancing, and disseminating Supply Chain knowledge and research. 

 

We're the association that helps supply chain managers connect and collaborate… and become more effective professionals. If you're not a supply chain manager, we can help you learn more about the supply chain… and how it affects every aspect of today's business environment.


         CSCMP exists to:

  • Provide opportunities for supply chain professionals to communicate in order to develop and improve their supply chain management skills.
  • Identify and conduct research which adds to the knowledge base of supply chain theory and practice.
  • Create awareness of the significance of supply chain to business and to the economy.

Amazon DC Tour

Tuesday Feb 21st

(Registration opens at 4:30)

Amazon, founded in 1995, has become a household name over the last decade and aims to be the "earth's most customer centric company".  The Seattle based eTailor has a global presence that includes over 2.4 million square feet of warehouse space for their fulfillment operations.  The latest addition to their DC operations is a warehouse of 1 million square feet in West Phoenix.  The state of the art DC is a sight to see, packed with the latest in fulfillment automation equipment, supporting over 800 employees per shift.

Our tour will be held at Amazon's DC located at 800 N. 75th Ave in Phoenix, AZ.  The facility is located South of the intersection of Roosevelt and 75th Ave.
